The EP
This music is a recording of a longform improvisation with live looping on violin and guitar. Originally composed for an adaptation of the beautiful children’s book, There is a Tribe of Kids by Lane smith, this EP features ambient strings, experimental sounds and plucked meditations in telling the tales of a child’s interaction with animals on the ice and in the water. The Show
Matriark Theatre presented an adaptation of There is a Tribe of Kids using projections and puppetry alongside live acting and music at the City of Sydney Libraries in 2017 and 2018. Created by the team while on a creative live/work residency with City of Sydney at Waterloo Library.
